Lawrence School Welcomes Bryce Brown as Head Coach of Boys Varsity Basketball
CLEVELAND, OH — (October 31, 2025) — Lawrence School is proud to announce the hiring of Bryce Brown as the new Head Coach of the Boys Varsity Basketball Team.
Coach Brown joins Lawrence with extensive coaching experience at both the high school and club levels, bringing a strong reputation for player development, leadership, and program building. Most recently, he served as the Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach at Brooklyn High School, where he focused on developing team chemistry, improving individual skills, and promoting academic accountability.
In addition to his high school experience, Coach Brown has been deeply involved in the Northeast Ohio basketball community, serving as Head Coach for both the Ohio Net (Boys) and TNBA (Girls) programs — two respected travel basketball organizations known for producing high-level talent and fostering growth on and off the court.
Brown also brings valuable experience from his time as an Assistant Girls Basketball Coach and Assistant Baseball Coach at Cleveland Central Catholic High School, where he helped guide athletes to success across multiple sports. His coaching career began over a decade ago as Head Boys Basketball Coach for Socialistic Sports Inc. in Florida, and later included a stint as a Volunteer Boys Basketball Coach at San Diego Mesa College before the 2020 season was cut short by COVID-19.
“We’re extremely excited to welcome Coach Brown to the Lawrence athletics program,” said Bryan Cioffoletti, Director of Athletics. “Bryce brings great energy and vision to the basketball program, and we’re confident he’ll continue to grow a culture of hard work, pride, and memorable experiences for our student-athletes.”
Coach Brown looks forward to leading the Lions into the upcoming season and building a program defined by character, discipline, and competitiveness.
